Their lives are played out in the tabloids and are constantly hounded by the paparazzi. The cost of fame may be worth it for some celebrities but when it comes to celebrity cheaters, you’re bound to get caught eventually. Bill Clinton was inaugurated as the President of the United States on January 20th, 1993. 2 years into his presidency he began an affair with a 22 year old White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. The story broke in the mainstream media in 1998 which caused Clinton to deny the allegations publicly using the famous line “I did not have sexual relations with that woman”.
Following the denial, phone call recordings of Lewinsky talking about the sexual relationship with a fellow staffer Linda Tripp came to light. A blue dress that was stained with Clinton’s semen was also a crucial piece of evidence that ultimately led to Clinton’s impeachment in December, 1998.
The British actor known for his charm and good looks rose to fame in the 1994 romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral. Earlier he met Elizabeth Hurley on the set of the Spanish film Remando Al Viento in 1998 and the pair became a media sensation.
8 years into the relationship Grant was busted by LA police getting a blow job in his car from Hollywood prostitute, Divine Brown for the princely sum of $60. Grant was arrested and charged with lewd conduct and fined $1,180. Although the couple tried to work things out, the relationship ended 5 years later.
You may know Kristen Stewart from the long running romantic fantasy film series Twilight. It was on the set of the first film in the series that she began a relationship with her vampire co-star Robert Pattinson. The young love birds played coy with the media regarding their relationship for years but were often snapped romantically engaged in public.
In 2012, Stewart was photographed by paparazzi smooching 40 year old (and married) director Rupert Sanders. Following the photos being published in US Weekly, Pattinson broke it off with Stewart and Rupert Sanders’ wife filed for divorce.
Shaquille O’Neal (commonly known as “Shaq”) was undisputedly one of the greatest NBA basketball players of all time. The 7ft 1in star married Shaunie Nelson back in 2002 to whom he had 4 children.
The marriage ended in 2009 after numerous dirty text messages and emails were leaked between Shaq and model Dominica Westling. Reports suggest she was just one of many women that Shaquille slept with during his marriage and he even admits to cheating in his book Shaq Uncut: My Story.
Gavin Rossdale is best known for being the lead singer of the 90’s rock band Bush and more recently a judge on ITV’s The Voice UK. The Grammy award wining singer of No Doubt Gwen Stefani met Rossdale while on tour in 1995 and married him some years later in 2002. It wasn’t until 2015 when Gwen discovered lewd messages and nude photos on the family iPad.
The texts and photos had been accidentally synced via iCloud from Rossdale’s iPhone revealing his affair with Mindy Mann, the family nanny. Mindy was swiftly fired and the pair divorced in 2016.
Super star actress Téa Leoni has had an extremely successful career in both film and television.
